So I went to the docs and she said I have shingles (she got another doc to check and he said shingles straight away). The rash burns - actually my whole back feels Itchy/burning, the rash has little white dots and is raised and red. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Need help for painful white gums right side of face?

I have swollen painful gums just on the right side of the lower molars. It started yesterday but today I woke up and the gums are white and swollen and look like canker sores! The rest of my mouth is fine. I'm not sure but it looks like I may be getting a tiny cavity so don't know if that has anything to do with it. But my ear and throat on the right side are painful too. I hurt my ankle 2-3 days ago, what could be the problem?

About 2-3 days ago I put too much pressure on the left side of my ankle (you know where the bone sticks out) I kind of jumped when I done it and it's been really sore ever since. It doesn't look bruised and I don't think its swollen but it's pretty sore and now, when I try to walk properly my foots clicks... The pain is going right up to my knee and my foot/ankle feels heavy and weird. I don't want to go see a Doctor unless it's swollen but what do you think could be the problem?

Pregnant cat wont stop over grooming.?

I found a stray cat about 12 weeks ago, which we thought was pregnant, she hasnt had them yet as the vet said she had 3 weeks left of her pregnancy, 4 weeks have since passed, and no kittens! The problem is she is over grooming herself constantly! which is making her skin sore, and scabby. Are there any treatments i can buy to help this? Question about accutane?

ok, ever sense I was 13/14 I used to get mild pimples just on my forehead. I had shaggy long hair and it just came along with greasy hair. I got benzyl peroxide and it helped, but left like red marks, that im assuming are scars. Now i'm 16, and i dont get acne anymore on my forehead, its moved to my face. its moderate, but the pimples i get are like red sore bumps, and as of now only have like 2 active, but like 5-6 dark red marks on each cheek but theyre like left over from acne. These red marks aparently look like moles, and they match my skin, but that all depends on the lighting.. The red marks/scars have been there for months and havent faded. I got minocycline from the doctor a month ago, but that didnt help the red marks at all. 4 days ago i was put on 40mg of accutane, and my dermotologist said "your condition is very moderate it should be all cleared up in a month or 2"... so based on peoples experiences, and what i've said what do you think about my situation? I thought you skin was suppose to break out in the first few months, is it possible to be cured so soon? my friend had it really bad, and he was all cleared up in 3-4 months,.... im on summer holidays now, and i have atleast 60 days left before school, but will that be enough time?

Neck pain with shortness of breath.. What could this be?

My husband has been having this problem severely for about 2-3 weeks, though he has had minor episodes over the course of about 7 years. He is in the US Military and had been overseas in 2004, when he came back he started having chest pains and shortness of breath. Docs diagnosed him with PTSD and then put him on an anti-depressant medicine. He was not content with that being the cause of his problems, over the years he has stopped taking that medication. Lately his symptoms have seemed to worsen. He is having neck pain that is sore to the touch along with shortness of breath and chest pain. He can turn his neck from side to side, but has a hard time looking up and down without having breathing problems. He has gone to the ER twice. The first doctor just told him it was hyperventilation syndrome. We were definitely not content with that answer. The second doctor was much more sympathetic. He thought something had rotated or sprained or something within his neck that was causing all the breathing problems. So he has seen a series of doctors. We've done a thyroid test that came up with nothing. We've done X-Rays that there is definitely something wrong in his neck. Whether a disk has slipped, something shifted, or a pinched nerve. That dr. wanted to do an MRI. We got that done and when the results came back the nurse told us that it did seem like something is pinched. My husband asked her what we can do to fix this problem and he told her that they will probably just medicate him. That's where I am at a standstill. If there is really something pinched or if they know something is wrong in his neck, how can they just medicate him and expect that to fix it. If anybody has any opinions, they would be much appreciated. Thanks

Why do I feel worse/ earache?

So I have had most of the signs of sinus infection (headche, sore throat, mucus drainage) for about 2 wweeks. Well I finally got to the doctor two days, and she confirmed my sinus infection and said that I had A LOT of fluid behind by ears, but my ears had not bothered me.She put me on azithromycin 500 mg (1 a day for 3 day), saline spray as needed, and mucinex D as needed. I started all of it about lunch time the first day, and by 8 pm I had an earache that was so painful that I was crying. It hurt from my ear all the down my jawline almost to my mouth. I was up until about 3 am. I tried eardrops, heating pad, massaging around base of my ear but nothing working. And ear would "pop" like when the pressure changes and it was painful each time, but one time it popped and it was almost immediate relief. But I called the doctor and she prescribed me ear drops and a mild pain pill. So my ear will still pop and it hurts a lot when it does, but it has a full feeling and my hearing is impaired in it. Also there is almost like a ringing noise in it. And my headache has intensified to where I have to have an ice pack on my head and the pain killer has not helped at all. So overall I feel worse than when I initially went to the doctor, although it has stopped my sore throat. I only have one my antibiotic so you would think I woould feel better now. Just taking any thoughts on why I feel worse. Also I am going back to doctor later today. Thanks

Navel piercing problems?

I have had my navel pierced for about 9 weeks, and for awhile it was doing very well. No irritation or redness. Yesterday, I changed my jewelry as I have done several times before without problems. When I slid the jewelry in, it came out with a thin piece of skin wrapped around it, i pulled the skin off, not really thinking anything of it as it had happened before. I took the jewelry back out and cleaned it a little more with salt water and pressed up on it to make sure anything inside was out. Treatment for IV infiltration?

I had surgery on my left foot 6 weeks ago, which left me with 4 K wires sticking out of the tops of 2 of my toes. I was told not to get the toes wet, which meant I could only clean them with a warm cloth around the toes, and not submerge them in water. Last week, one of the toes became red, swollen and hot to touch. I then spent three days in hospital getting antibiotics through IV. The last bag of antibiotics would not go through, and the doctor ended up starting a new IV on the other arm. Now the first IV site has been red, swollen and very painful since I left hospital. 2 months after tooth extraction and something is happening...?

Upper lower back molar was extracted about 2 months ago and the last couple days I have been working hard. Well, after I was all done working for almost 13hours I noticed where my tooth was removed it was raised.. like a half tooth sized sore. After an hour or so I swished some cold water around in my mouth and it seems to get worse and worse feeling like its about to pop. I was feeling with with my tongue when all of a sudden it felt like it came off my extraction site! I quickly used my tongue to move this thing out of my mouth and spat it onto my hand. It is white/yellow with 2-3 little black dots (maybe food) and smells horrible. It's no bigger then an eye drop mind you. After that I examined it and realized it was shell-like, and then washed it away. But now the sore feels like its swelling again. What is this? I haven't had one problem with this extraction site and took very good care of it post removal up until a month ago where I went back to normal eating habits and working habits. My tonsils are covered in white spots?

I went to the doctor 2 days ago to get a cyst removed and my throat was a little sore and since there was an ENT next door to my doctors office i decided to schedule an appointment there. The swab test came out negative and the doc figured if I do have tonsillitis then the amoxicillin I got for the cyst removal would probably take care of it. I've been wondering about it all day today now cuz my throat is still kinda sore and my right tonsil has a bunch of white spots, yet I don't have any other symptoms. I am in constant pain which has progressively got worse from the age of 15. So, yesterday, my lower eyelid on my left eye was feeling a little sore when I touched it lightly or leaned too far down. Access 2003 Error 3022?

I have created a database in Access 2003 with 2 tables, each with a corresponding forms. Suddenly, Access will not allow me to enter anything into one of my forms (the other form still "works"). No matter what field I type into, I get an error 3022 message. I have tried adding and removing a primary key, changing the one field that was indexed to non-indexed and indexed with duplicates allowed, and removing all relationships. Nothing has worked. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Could my file be corrupted?

My right testicle is a little painful i have had this pain for about 3 days. I actually found it confusing and hard work to read. It is a riot scene with no hint of what the characters are like. What is an "intimidation school foyer" or do you mean 'intimidating?' Also I found the names you use rather hard work and difficult to remember. I know that is probably the names that the young have nowadays but it is still confusing. I really want to run but I don't want injuries, any advice?

I used to run quite a bit (not in any real competitive way but) but I stopped about a year ago. I started it back up by running 3K every morning for the past week (run 5, rest 2, run 10, rest 2 etc.) and it's been pretty killer on my muscles. I stretch before and after for at least 10 minutes, I do a warm up and I eat the appropriate post-run and pre-run foods but they're still pretty achy. I notice that even if my muscles are sore in the morning but I push through my 3K anyway that they don't hurt as much after about 5 minutes and they only start to get sore an hour or so later. Anyways it's about 8:30pm over here and I really wanna go for a 30-40 minute run but I'm wondering if that might be over doing it seeing as my muscles are still adjusting and recovering?

Tooth Extraction Pain?

Hello, I had a bottom tooth pulled a couple of weeks ago and it was a rough extraction(took the dentist nearly an hour and he had to break it in half first). About a week and a half after the extraction I developed a dry socket with extreme radiating pain. I went to the Dentist and he put gauze on it and gave me antibiotics and pain meds and told me I didn't have to come back. Well I took all the antibiotics and still have pain in the extraction site and the tooth next to it is very sore and I wanted to know if maybe my dry socket hasn't healed right or if it just takes a while and if I should go back to the dentist?

This may be what is called tonsil stones. It is pretty gross. Food gets caught in your tonsils and then comes out as this smelly squishy thing. What would cause a bruise on my breast?

On examining my breast after getting out of the shower, I noticed that there was a bruise about the size of a quarter or a bit bigger on the outside of my right breast just about 2" above where my bra band rests. It could be numerous things. One that really struck me was Multiple Personality Disorder. One side of him is extremely, unusually nice and intelligent and one is more laid back, personal, and uses his brilliance against people. I'm no psychologist, but I would not suggest letting your son live alone, as he may not be able to fully prepare meals and take care of his house/apartment on his own. I wouldn't suggest letting him out of your household until he knows how to properly manage money, has some sort of social interaction with people his age, and has an interest in doing other things outside of his room. It, also, could possibly be Asperger's Syndrome. Asperger's Syndrome is a form of Autism where people are highly intelligent in a couple of areas, yet deeply unable to socially interact and/or relate to other people. I would recommend taking him to a psychologist just to get him evaluated and learn to give him those barriers and help him be successful as an adult, and help him learn how to continue in college without giving up. Help him understand there are many other things to do than stay in his room, and that socializing can be a very rewarding thing for him (possibly take him to his favorite place, give him his favorite meal, praise him). My periods are always completely regular, aprox every 33days. I had my period May 15th. I had unprotected sex on May 27th and also again on June 4th. I am not trying to get pregnant, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we were. I was expecting my period around the 18-19th. No period, took 4 preg since then and all came back negative. On june 22nd I had lower abdominal cramping, not really bad, but since then I've had a clear watery, almost ordorless discharge. I thought it was my period coming late, but alas, no bleeding, just clear watery stuff. My boobs aren't sore, but nipples are really sensitive. Also for a couple days now, i have had heartburn which I've never had a preoblem with. On wednesday night I woke up in the middle of the night chocking because of the heartburn. Ok, the pound said she was a border collie boxer mix, but I think she's part greyhound or something. She has shiny short black hair. There is a white stripe on her forehead/muzzle that goes down and ends on her chest, just like a border collie. Her paws are white partially, like only white up to just past the toe bones. When you look at her jowls, or mouth from below when she's panting, you can see the boxer part. But there's somethings different about her. I swear, when she wags her tail, it feels whip-like because she is really strong. Whenever she runs, i think she uses the double suspension gallop, some method greyhounds use to run. She's a fast runner. But I don't know if she is a greyhound or something else like a whippet or an italian greyhound. So I measured her and she's about 25 inches from the ground to her back and about a yard long. So, what do you think? Oh yeah, also she's older now so now she has more white around her eyes, they look like eyebrows. She has more white around where her white stripe is. Her personality is goofy. She's sneaky though. She is very loving, though, except when she's tired, she wants to growl at everyone. Does anybody here know about skin diseases in miniature poodles?

I am considering adopting a miniature poodle from a local no-kill shelter. She's very malnourished and she's an old dog - all of this is fine and I'm financially prepared for it - but she appears to have skin problems. It's not ringworm or flea-related...I know those problems on sight. Her skin is not crusty or smelly or covered in sores. It's just a sort of general inflammation. The shelter is so strapped for cash right now that it won't do any diagnostics on adult dogs except heartworm before adopting them out, so I won't know what it is until I take her to the vet myself. I'm probably going to adopt her anyway, but I'm just curious if there are any poodle lovers out in Yahooland who know what I might be looking at, here. Thanks in advance!

What is making my ear hurt?

On my right ear the anti helix/rook area hurts a lot. I don't have a piercing and never had one there so it's nothing to do with piercings. It feels sore and tender. When I press on it, it is very sore but if I press on my left ear there is no pain whatsoever. There is no bump or anything there and it isn't itchy at all just painful. I can't find anything about ears hurting without being related to piercings. Where is the pain coming from?

Tooth and gum pain, heavy gum bleeding HELP?

Today I woke up fine, then after a couple hours my tooth started getting really sore, especially when I bit down with it. I hadn't eaten anything yet so nothing was stuck in the gum area. I decided that I might floss to see what the issue was. My gum around the tooth started bleeding TERRIBLY, like a full stream of blood that lasted maybe 5 seconds. I have great oral health. I brush twice a day AND floss AND use mouth wash. I also was just at the dentist 4 weeks ago and they said my teeth were perfect. I rinsed with mouth wash and also rinsed with salt water. What is this, why is bleeding so much (not just some red or pink on the floss but a sudden stream), and what can I do to make it stop? My dentist's office is closed until Tuesday. Please help!

Feeling really depressed?!!?

I have been self harming for about 2-3 months now, right now my left arm is covered in cuts and a few scars I cut on my leg earlier because my arm felt soo sore, I've cut words like love, *****, mess, and fk up into my arms. I do it because I feel depressed a lot of the time and it makes me feel better and I feel more in control when I'm stressed or angry. But the thing is I dont know WHY I feel depressed most of the time, I feel like I'm useless hated like no body cares I hate myself, I just feel like curling up in a corner and dying. One week I can feel fine but the next I can feel like throwing myself off a bridge. I've talked to a doctor about my SH and I've Been referred to some place, and I'm waiting for a call. I've talked to my science teacher and pe teachet about my sh, my science teacher knows I've had suicidal thoughts, I want to go to him or my pe teacher to talk about me feeling depressed all the time, but I don't know what to say. And whenever he asks me if I'm okay I just say I'm fine. What do u think I shud say to them? What shud I do? Please help? X ty

If you got a blue screen then that might not be due to a virus. The blue screen also indicates hardware and sometimes software e.g. drive problems. If you are not 100% sure it is a virus then it is probably a hardware problem. If the laptop is overheating or has hardware problems then that would cause it to restart and also cause the blue screen.

Stretched ears are sore and crusty?

I started stretching my ears two days ago and used acrylic tapers. I then put acrylic plugs in after stretching them. I know acrylic isn't good, but that's all I had and I'm buying stainless steel plugs this weekend. But, I woke up this morning and my ears were slightly sore and had a bit of crust on the back of them. I've been cleaning them twice a day in the shower with warm water and sea salt.

Why can't I reach the notes I could 5 days ago when I sing?

I love to sing but I recently went away somewhere for 9 days where I didn't have any time or place to sing full out. When I got home, I spent about an hour singing and playing my guitar and I was amazed on how good I was sounding and how many notes I could reach. However, the next day, my throat was a little sore and when i tried singing i couldn't reach some notes that I know are in my range. Ever since then, I almost have to strain my voice to reach some notes and it feels like I have a lump in my throat when I sing and I always feel like yawning. Did I damage my voice by singing a lot when I got back? Or am I not doing something correctly? I need help because I have some things I have to sing for coming up.

Swollen throat diagnosis?!?

So yesterday I noticed that in the morning, my throat seemed swollen a little bit, but it wasn't sore. It hurts when I swallow, but not like a sore throat hurting, like a pressure hurting. It got worse as the day went on, then this morning it was minor again. Now, in the afternoon, it's worse than yesterday, and when I turn my head it's almost as if my whole throat is closed! On the outside it doesn't look swollen at all and my glands are hardly swollen. What could this be? What's it caused by? I'm only allergic to penicillin and that just gives me hives.

Switched workout schedule makes my arms feel weaker??!! ?

I use to do biceps and triceps 6 x a week and now I changed my schedule to every other day and my biceps feel like they might be geting bigger but defently not harder if any thing kinda looser is this normal I do around 100 pushups 25 chinups 15 pullups and like 10 hammer pull ups and curls and multiple workout with 40 pounds on a dumbbell curl probly around 40 curls also I raise the bar above my head and use it like I'm lifting weights that gets Ur arms sore I'm 13 5 foot 3 110 I'm defently not fat what I like about my body is I'm not one of those natrually bony skinny peoples I have a flat belly with ABS under that I'm trying to pop out but I'm eating a lot to get my arms big and at the end of each workout I can't touch my shoulders
