What is the name of this film?

When I was younger (I'm 15 now and this was probably between 5 and 8 years ago) I watched a film at my nans house on the TV. I have remembered it ever since but never knew the name and I have looked before if I could find it but have never availed. Anyway the only things that I can remember of the film are that there was a group of some sort of soldiers infiltrating a building where some weapons were. With them they had someone that had been temporarily released from prison to assist the soldiers. All but one of the soldiers are killed not long into the operation leaving just one soldier and the prison guy alive. Together they manage to neutralize all the weapons (which have lots of like green balls inside them) within this building/complex or whatever it was and survive. However I remember at the end the soldier tells the people on his radio that the prison man had been killed so that the prison man wouldn't go back to jail. Does anyone know what this film is even though my details are vague? I would really appreciate any help.
