Warhammer 40k: Can you deploy reserves into enemy units?

My friend and I are noob-warhammer players (myself playing tau) and a question came up about reserve deployment. If I were to infiltrate a unit (say, kroot) across the back of his table edge after deployment and he had units in reserve, can his reserved units deploy into the same area that the kroot occupy?
