Does this sound like psoriasis?

I've always had a spot of dry skin on my right wrist that comes and goes. However, about three years ago I got a spot on my right forearm that eventually got to about the size of a silver dollar. Eventually it went away but before it did I got another smaller spot higher up that's still there and eventually got a spot on my left elbow and shoulder blade. In the last week I've developed 5 pimple-like sores around the afflicted areas. I've been to the doctor who just wrote me up for an anti-biotic that doesn't seem to help. The spots are rough and flakey and ooze if scratched. What does this sound like to you?
